Tender & Cost Estimation Engineer
A job opportunity in a major construction company
Responsibilities:
- Studying the new tender set of drawings and BOQ.
- Reviewing all tender terms and conditions.
- Negotiate with subcontractors.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Developing a tender complete package and presenting it.
- Recommend ways to make a project more cost‐effective or profitable.
- Attend clarification meetings with the Client when required.
- Be familiar with the general specifications and market requirements.
- Study the project’s documents like drawings, specifications, and schedule, and review tender documents and contract to be able to follow up on materials required.
- Visit the site and record information about access, drainage, topography, and availability of services such as water and electricity.
- Prepare comparative analysis documents related to specs, price, delivery conditions, and mode of transportation.
Job Requirements:
- B.SC Engineering - Civil Department
- Experience +10 years in a Construction field (estimation-related).
- Autocade + Office is a must.
- Infrastructure projects would be highly welcomed
- Basic commercial awareness
